Here are a few useful guides and writeups I have found on powder coating. I might be trying this soon, so I will let you guys know how it goes.

For those of you interested, a decent powder coating kit can be had for pretty cheap now at Harbor Freight for about $60. All that is needed is a small compressor and a toaster oven (size of oven depends on the size of parts you are trying to coat).

As you know from physics, torque = force * distance so the farther from the center of the wheel that the rim is, the more torque and power it will take to turn.
