Your right slowly but surely everybody is getting the bug.  I have a 95 civic si I burned the motor up on it in January Roll Eyes go figure I peieced it back together 97civic block with a 2000 thousand head darn thing is running like a champ, I'll explain why a went that route: I wanted to keep it as stock as I could it seems to be worth a little more if it's V-TEC go figure but the only problem was is that I couldn't find a complete motor to save my life. so there you have it, it is a frankenstein.  anybody looking to buy it, it is for sale $2,500.  Got my eyes on something diffrent

Sweetness.  I believe my cuz had the same setup for a while until his irresponsible brother trashed the car up.  It was running pretty decent for a SOHC VTEC w/ on basic bolt on's.  High 15's on Donuts but that's as quick as the new SI's LOL.  I'm asuming you replaced it w/ a SOHC motor right (Since the 95 SI's were SOHC)

As you know from physics, torque = force * distance so the farther from the center of the wheel that the rim is, the more torque and power it will take to turn.
