OMG NO Traction!

I am hoping for mid 13s if I can get traction. This won't be by the next Rockfalls sport compact day tho.

When I get my setup running, I hope to hit at least 11's.  What is everybody elses predictions?

So what are your plans when you run faster than a 11.49 ET? Are you planning on not running anymore at the track or are you going to install a roll bar?

As you know from physics, torque = force * distance so the farther from the center of the wheel that the rim is, the more torque and power it will take to turn.

The Trans Am has got to be trapping around 106-108 (If he still has same mods as when he ran the CRX).  So I'm guessing around high 12's would be a good guesstimate.

I'm hoping to break the 13.5 mark with the Maxima... but we'll see.

The Celica, it'd better be hitting low 13's and trap at least 102+ mph(should at least be faster than the Maxima on street/strip)

If I do run faster than 11.49, I rather just go home.  I'm going to wait till I go all out then get a cage.  But most likely I will barely break in the 11's.

Lol... No offense... But did you not see the part where it says "most likely will barely break in the 11's" therefore concluding his prediction at a high 11 second run.  This is an optimistic prediction but it's more than possible in an EVO making 300+ awhp.

The 11.49 he's talking about is the "if a miracle happened" run.  IE. It would be equivalent to you and I saying the WRX and Maxima would be breaking 12's with our current Mods.... But more than likely we'd be running in the mid 13 margin.

Chinky, better not be running 16's LOL!  My cousin with a SOHC VTEC hatch runs high 15's in 98 degree weather and only has basic bolt-on's!

from what i seen, i dont think it will run 11s at all.  i should have been more specific.  I'm not hating i'l be the first one to congratulate him.  Grin

i dont hope for anything. i run what i run, thats it. faster the better. if i cared i'd have more than exhaust.

Lol.  There must be a little confusion here.

StockEvo's not predicting his run with his current setup.  Check out the "Member Projects" section and check out his grocery list of modifications (Cams + E85 is a pretty decent bump in HP).  To date he already has more than half of the mods but just hasn't had the chance to install them.  I think his prediction is based on these mods and a tune.  That's the only reason why I would predict a highly possible 11 second run.

I definitely hear you on the Daily Driver times though.  We run what we run and if it happens to be pretty good times... sweet!
