As you know from physics, torque = force * distance so the farther from the center of the wheel that the rim is, the more torque and power it will take to turn.

Yes, this race was computer generated with a backdrop of 61.  Grin .  Dam those bald tires.... launched @ 3k (hoping they had warmed up enough) spun through first  gear, feathered the gas pedal but it still spun and finally caught @ 6k.... (Awww... when these tires were new I could launch at 4k on the street and it'd just hook up.... sigh)

Just think... It's a pretty much stock GS setup.  That V8 Monster definitely has potential to make more power.  I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Chewy. why don't you get some better tires for your beater?  Before you get new tires, let's do a long ass burnout!

Does adding bleach to the tires aid in making it smoke more?

That's true... 5W30 worked out pretty well..... We were able to do a 15 minute burnout session from a stock 94 corrolla!  He he he.... man the cloud of smoke was huge!  And when the tranny shifted to second gear the smoke production almost tripled!  LOL.... (Sigh).... When we were young....
