The engine is mated to 6-speed 6F55 SelectShift transmission (with paddle-shifters) with a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system. The Taurus SHO also takes full advantage of a multi-link SR1 rear suspension design which enhances driver control.

Nice but a little to heavy for the amount of power.  Plus who knows how well the motor and tranny will hold up to more power.

Heavy and motor durability response to mods questionable....  Sounds like a competitor for the MazdaSpeed 6.
