Boosting once a day will make your worries go away

« on: March 12, 2010, 12:33:09 AM »

I was thinking of mid May right after finals.  I also picked out a place too. Sliver lake park of Sliverlake road and 694, great fishing caught my record Carpie there, and it was just totally remodeled last year so it has a picnic area, bbq grill, etc. LMK what you guys think and please any input will help.

The location sounds great!  The only problem now is picking a date that works for everyone.  I'm free on Sundays and Saturdays.

Sundays work best for me too.  My wife works tuesday-saturday

I'm trying to picture where this is? Is it on the north or south side of 694?

I'm in.  Finally figured out the issue.  It was a faulty ignition coil (Wierd since the spark test was ok).  I couldn't visually see a difference between weak and strong spark.

Gonna try to find some fender rollers to roll the rear fenders now.  Anyone PM me if they know someone who has one!

sorry guys but I went there and they are still doing some construction.  They also took out all the bbq stuff and tore down the shelter and redoing it, so nothing will be ready for our picnic/meet.

We have to look for another place, Open for suggestions

Yeah, the dieing coil was difficult to diagnose, only replacement and see was the option.  Glad it's running good again.

So where should we meet.......hmm......the shacks at Keller that they just built looks pretty nice.  I'm not sure when they open though.  There's still Long Lake, Snail lake, Vandnais lake, or the infamous Sucker lake.

Keller Lake is a strong No for me.  Roads are soo crappy there.

Ionno.  We could try Cummings Park?

Check it out homey.  It's usually pretty quite there too unless someone has the place reserved for a party or something.  Otherwise, we can reserve for like $35 ($100 damage deposit) but we gotta make sure to clean up.

However:  Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

Look at it with Google Maps.  You'll see it's a decent sized parking lot.
